Dear NWO:
TOP TEN THINGS YOU FORGOT WHEN PLANNING THE WORLD TAKEOVER
Number 10 - There are more than a million of us for each one of you, and we don't really like you very much- because you keep trying to kill us.
Number 9 - We know how desperate you are to appear like you are actually still in control of the situation.
Number 8 - Despite many years of effort on your part to stamp us out, we are *ahem* still here, and growing exponentially.
Number 7 - We can dramatically reduce the effectiveness of your multi- million-dollar EMF mind control technology with 25-cent devices that a ten year old kid can build.
Number 6 - Your system is not sustainable. We sometimes enjoy watching the contortions you go through trying to keep it up and running, but lately we are getting hungry and that makes our BS detectors more active.
Number 5 - Everything you have depends entirely on us, since you guys usually can't even locate the 'on' switch. So, even if you push 'the button,' WE still have to push SEVERAL THOUSAND MORE buttons in order for anything to happen. Most likely, when you tell us to 'look sharp,' we will just crack a beer and fart.
Number 4 - In order for people to be good zombies, they have to be fully aware of what you are doing, in order to successfully pretend they don't know.
Number 3 - Punishment loses its effectiveness with overuse, and you are WAAAY past the point of overuse.
Number 2 - Nobody actually believes clouds are long straight lines that come out of airplanes.
Number 1 - There is a God. (see universe for reference.)
Sincerely,Citizen of the World

Syrian insurgents killed in internal dispute over booty
At least 25 insurgents were killed in the Izaz neighborhood of the city, located about 114 kilometers (70 miles) south of Damascus, on Tuesday after they turned on each other and exchanged heavy gunfire. Dozens of gunmen were also injured in the clashes, the SANA news agency reported.
Romney/Ryan to win?
The other sign suggesting a possible Romney victory is Romney’s attendance at the June 2012 Bilderberg conference. All previous US presidents who attended Bilderberg meetings were eventually anointed president shortly thereafter. According to some Bilderberg watchers, Obama may have worn out his welcome.
If Romney/Ryan wind up winning the election, the world would be subjected to Bush/Cheney on steroids, with an extra element of fanaticism from the messianic Romney, and Ryan, the right-wing Christian extremist.
Its team of foreign policy advisers is a wall to wall cast of Bush/Cheney henchmen:
Marijuana Prohibition Is Hanging on by Its Final Thread -- There's a Bright Future on the Horizon
Link
True in 1933, true in 1991, true in 2012. With Connecticut’s new medical cannabis law, the latest but not the last, we’re at 17 states now unilaterally declaring peace in the drug war, and that number is going to keep growing (Massachusetts and Arkansas voters go to the polls on the issue in a couple of weeks on the medical side, and Coloradans, Oregonians and Washingtonians will be voting to fully end the drug war by regulating cannabis for adult social use). In fact, despite two recent polls showing a majority of Americans favor full -- not just medicinal – marijuana legalization, it looks like the one-state-at-a-time model is going to be the one that ends the four-decade, ineffective, trillion-dollar war on cannabis.
That’s because the drug war issue is, in the words of former New Mexico Governor and current Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson, the issue of “greatest disconnect” between Americans and their leaders on the federal level.
What he means is, there is as yet almost no support in Congress, especially in the Senate, to get cannabis out of Schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act. This absurd classification means that officially the plant has no beneficial uses at all. Even cocaine and methamphetamine are in Schedule II. As the tired and wrong rhetoric about brains frying on drugs fades from the society’s zeitgeist, the taxpayer is coming to ask why.
Savile and prince Charles
"He would walk into the office and do the rounds of the young ladies taking their hands and rubbing his lips all the way up their arms if they were wearing short sleeves," Arbiter said of Savile. "If it was summer [and their arms were bare] his bottom lip would curl out and he would run it up their arms. This was at St James's Palace. The women were in their mid to late 20s doing typing and secretarial work."
Arbiter did not raise his concerns formally and there is no suggestion Savile committed any crimes while on royal premises or when he was with Prince Charles on numerous occasions from the 1970s onwards. But the concern over his behaviour expressed by a senior aide will raise questions over how Savile, who is now under investigation in relation to child abuse involving 300 potential victims, managed to develop such a long-standing relationship with the heir to the throne.
Arbiter said he thought the women might have thought Savile's greeting was "rather funny", but he said it was a cause for concern and he struggled to understand why Savile was granted such access to the royal family.

Halloween - Happy Samhain!!
- Halloween: Wikipedia link
[Its] more typically linked to the Celtic festival of Samhain", which comes from the Old Irish for "summer's end".[ It marked the end of the harvest season and the beginning of winter or the 'darker half' of the year.[15] This was a time for stock-taking and preparing for the cold winter ahead;[11] cattle were brought back down from the summer pastures and livestock were slaughtered.[15] In much of the Gaelic world, bonfires were lit and there were rituals involving them.[15] Some of these rituals hint that they may once have involved human sacrifice

The Celtics had priests called druids. On October 31, the druids went from house to house demanding certain foods, and all those who refused were cursed. The people were tormented by means of magic. As they went, the druids carried large turnips which they had hollowed out and on which they had carved demon faces as charms. Each one was believed to contain the demon spirit that personally led or guided that priest: his little god.

Autism and Vaccinations: Will Your Pediatrician Tell The Truth?
Is there a link between autism and vaccines? This question will continue to be the topic of debate and controversy and not offer any hope to parents whose children are afflicted with the disease. A better question to ask is “what is the American Pediatric Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics doing to find out what is causing the increase of autism rates in children?” In the meantime, if you are a parent, do your homework and then make the decision you believe is best. Remember, the pediatrician is not going to raise your child.
deep read: Waking Up Hurts
The so-called ego is born from an assumption. It is not an entity, but a belief in one, a belief in a separate self, one that is marooned on an island of flesh. Belief in the ego is the result of a confusion about uniqueness, where individuation becomes the equivalent of separation. The ego is a belief, a primitive superstition, a cult of one, an emotional recoil dramatized as abandonment and betrayal. Every ego is a fundamentalist, a fascist, and a tyrant in a drama of perpetrator/victim. I call it the Poor me/Fuck you syndrome.
The truth is, I don’t have an ego and neither do you! We have a belief in ego, an assumption about our state that has no basis in Reality itself. A belief in something doesn’t make it true, no matter how devout we are, no matter how dedicated we may be to that belief. Pious devotion to falsehood turns people into fools. When you unpack your “self” and all its contents, it turns out to be just a pile of old books and dirty laundry.

EU demands an extra £11.5bn from British taxpayers
As the Foreign Secretary used a keynote Berlin speech to plead that EU budgets stayed "in touch with the real world", MEPs and the European Commission agreed a series of demands that will increase EU expenditure by £95 billion over the next eight years.

THE ROAD TO WEMBLEY ...
... AND THEN WHERE?
Hello all ...
We have a football (soccer) competition in England called the Football
Association Cup, or FA Cup. It used to be a major event when I was a kid,
but it has lost its importance in the last 20 years or so to bigger trophies
played between the leading clubs of Europe.
There was great excitement among football fans when I was a boy in the 1950s
and 60s about who would 'win the cup'. There was no 'FA' necessary because
everyone knew what was meant by 'the cup'. Television coverage of the FA Cup
Final at London's Wembley Stadium used to begin hours before the kick-off
and one of the features was always called 'The Road To Wembley' when the
goals would be shown from earlier rounds of the competition to chart how the
two teams won through to the final at the national stadium.
I would be sat there from mid-morning watching every second of the build-up
and the game itself. I was always dreaming of one day playing at Wembley and
'winning the cup'. I did indeed go on to be a professional footballer, but
the nearest I came to my childhood dream was getting beaten in the first
round of 'the cup' in a game in which I had a nightmare. If I had put my
head in my hands that day I would have dropped it.
I did actually play at Wembley once in front of 60,000 people in a brief
'celebrity' game before the final of another cup competition in the 1980s,
but that was hardly the same.
This was my hometown club, Leicester City, who reached the FA Cup final at
Wembley in 1963. I remember so well watching the game on a little black and
white television as Manchester United beat them 3-1. I was eleven at the
time and football was my life then.
This is the Manchester United captain that day, Noel Cantwell, holding the
FA Cup after the win over my team Leicester City and a few years later he
was my club manager when I became a professional myself. He was a lovely
man. I would also play in the same team as another of those Manchester
United cup winners, the never-to-be forgotten Maurice Setters.
Maurice had a pair of legs so bowed that he would never stop a pig in a
passage. He was also quite small for the position that he played and a bit
overweight. So he had nothing going for him - but what a player. He showed
what the mind, determination and experience can do to more than compensate
for the downsides.
Maurice Setters, one of the many memorable characters that I played with.
Next weekend I don't quite make it to Wembley Stadium, but I'll be
physically close at least - just a few hundred yards away at the vast
Wembley Arena. There is even a football connection here, too. I had
forgotten all about it until I went for a look around the place last year
with a view to putting on this week's event.
I kept getting the feeling that I had been there before, but surely not? Why
would I? Then I saw the dressing room area and it all came back.
I left school at 15 to join a club called Coventry City, where I met Noel
Cantwell and Maurice Setters, and in my first season the club had a bit of
brain-fade when they were invited to send a team for a national five-aside
event at ... the Wembley Arena.
Every other club sent their top players, many of them internationals, but
Coventry City sent us - a bunch of 15 and 16 years olds from the youth team
and, in my case, just a few months out of school. If you made it through the
first round you qualified for the televised part of the tournament on the
BBC, but there was no chance of that.
We were drawn against Manchester City, one of the best teams of the time
with top players like Colin Bell, Neil Young and Mike Summerbee, and they
went on to win the trophy. The games that night thankfully didn't last long,
just a few minutes for each half, and we managed to keep the score down to
3-0.
All I remember is the speed of the game, it was so unbelievably fast for
someone so young, and the noise. Goodness I remember the noise from the
thousands gathered in the Arena's enclosed space. So I was well beaten on my
first visit to Wembley Arena - I am hoping for at least a draw this time.
I then also recalled commentating there once for the BBC on badminton - a
sport I knew nothing about. I presented and commentated live for hours one
Sunday afternoon at Wembley Arena just trying to sound confident and
knowledgeable while basically knowing that in badminton you hit a
shuttlecock with a racket.
I would introduce a game live in the studio in one of the Wembley dressing
rooms and then run up the stairs to the commentary box while the expert
pundit covered the time it took for me to get there. At the end of each game
I would hand over to him again while I ran back down the stairs to the
studio.
All the time I had the producer talking in my ear - a man who never made one
decision when another four or five were possible. I mean, why be decisive
and make a decision when you have so many to choose from? The fellah used to
be undecided but now he's not so sure.
It made for an unforgettable afternoon, except that I did indeed forget it
(but then the mind does tend to shut out memories of traumatic events). It's
funny how the mind holds memories in the subconscious, but as soon as the
door is opened all the details flood out about things that we had forgotten
completely just seconds earlier.
In fact, it only came to me while I was writing this that there was another
time when I presented show jumping from the Arena live and prime time for
the BBC every night for a week when the usual presenter was otherwise
engaged. Once again I knew nothing about show jumping, but I just did the
introductions and then handed to the experts.
It was on this occasion that I delivered the conversation-stopping line
while sitting down for dinner with some equestrian types - 'I'm so hungry I
could eat a horse'. I was not used to being among such people so I forgot
where I was. Didn't go down well, but, hey, tally-ho, just a turn of phrase,
don't take it literally, chaps.
Anyway, 45 years on since I had three goals smacked past me at the Wembley
Arena as a 15-year-old, I am back with different coloured hair, a few pounds
extra on board and a body no longer in a state that can dive, hit the floor,
and bounce back to its feet in an instant. Today I would get down in
instalments and be able to send you a postcard before I hit the ground.
But, like Maurice Setters, the footballer, I compensate and get by anyway.
'Whatever happened to that young chap that used to play for Coventry City?'
'Sad case - went mad, apparently.'
So here I am going back to the place that I forgot I had ever been. The
Wembley Arena was opened with the name Empire Pool for the 1934 British
Empire Games (now called the Commonwealth Games) and at first it was a
swimming pool venue, hence the name.
It has since staged major indoor sporting events and hosted concerts by many
of the biggest names in music history over the last nearly 80 years,
including the Beatles on three occasions. Only recently it was the venue for
events in the London Olympics, including the badminton (so glad I missed
it).
The night after I speak there and both expose the scale of Satanism and call
on people not to succumb to fear, Alice Cooper will be on the same stage
with his tour called the Halloween Night of Fear. As Morpheus said in The
Matrix: 'Fate, it seems, is not without a sense of irony'.
We ended up at Wembley after quite a search for a venue in London that could
hold four or five thousand people. We had many great years at the Brixton
Academy which holds just under 2,500 but we had to do two events there in
2010 to meet the interest and, with me now passing 60, I would rather do one
event for all the people interested rather than two or more.
We tried the famous Royal Albert Hall which holds 4,000 but they didn't seem
particularly interested and the cost would have made ticket prices far too
high. In the end we investigated the possibility of Wembley Area. It holds
12,500 and that was too big and the costs involved were far too much for
what we could handle.
I have had in mind the date of October 27th 2012 for at least a year and so
we went back to the Brixton Academy with a view to doing two events again,
one of which would have been on that day. But that didn't work because that
is their band season and there would be no seats in place.
So I decided to put everything on hold and see what happened because I have
learned from long experience that if things don't just drop into place then
it is no good trying to make them do so. Chill, and let the energy flow tell
you where it wants to go when it is good and ready.
A few weeks later Wembley Arena contacted us again. There had been a change
of management and they wanted to know if we were still interested in the
October 27th date. We said yes, but not at the price the previous owners
were asking, nor could we commit to 12,500 seats.
They offered a better deal and said the Arena could be laid out for 5,500
and 7,500. Okay, we said, you're on.
We booked for 5,500 seats last February right on the limit of our financial
possibility. I had hoped that we could possibly reach 7,500 because the
whole idea was to make a massive statement by the numbers that something was
stirring in the human psyche that could no longer be ignored by the
mainstream.
But our initial assessment of the likely interest has proved to be about
right with around 5,000 seats now spoken for a week ahead of the event and
thousands more that we hope will be watching the live streaming of the whole
day worldwide on the Internet.
That is fantastic and would have been dreamland for me a few years ago when
audiences for this information could be counted in hundreds and, not long
before that, sometimes on the fingers of two hands. But just how far we
still have to go in awakening the majority to their plight hit home two
weeks ago when it was announced that the 135,000 tickets for the 2013
Glastonbury rock festival, costing more than £200 ($320) apiece, had all
been taken in a record one hour and forty minutes.
There needs to be an incredible shift in global awareness if I am to still
be in embodiment when the collective consciousness awakens to what is really
happening in the world and to the nature of its own self and reality. But,
who knows? You keep going, do what you can, and what happens, happens. That
is how I have always worked and always will.
'Hey, chaps, I am open to anything - just make it fast ...'
A mere handful of people have made the event happen - just five in any
ongoing way, including myself. Davidicke.com webmaster Sean Adl-Tabatabai
(you can see why we call him 'Sean') has arranged the production and
technical side and Linda Atherton, my rock for more than 40 years, has made
sure the costs are kept in check. They can get out of hand very quickly if
you are not careful on something this big.
Both have pulled in all this extra work on top of everything else they have
to do every day and they have done a magnificent job together with my son
Jaymie and his Open Vision Events, my daughter Kerry and artist Neil Hague
who has a produced a lot of new images. My other son, Gareth, will be
providing much of the music.
I have spent the last three months putting together a whole new presentation
and working with Sean on how I want the event to look within the budget we
have been dealing with. The amount of work that a very few people have put
into this event for eight months has been incredible.
One of the biggest challenges of all things has been getting the music
together that I wanted. You would think that would be simple, but no. What a
palaver, as they say, and you would not believe the time and hassle this has
taken over many weeks. It has, however, been a very enlightening experience
on many levels.
We learned of the shocking figures demanded by major music corporations to
play short bursts of music even when it was released decades ago and, in one
case, the singer has long passed to another reality. Sony wanted £6,500
(more than $10,000) to play a song lasting less than three minutes and
released in 1967.
Universal wanted £5,000 ($8,000) to play Universal Soldier by Donovan, a
song released in 1965 and lasting only seconds over two minutes. I stress
that this is not the artist demanding this money, but the rights holders.
This would have been a total of £11,500 (nearly $19,000) to play music 45
years old and lasting for a total of five minutes within an event spanning
12 hours. We are talking insanity here.
Then there was the Japanese video game giant, Sega, through its British
offshoot, Creative Assembly, that agreed a price with us for an anti-war
song that they are bizarrely using in a series called Total War in which
children and adults are encouraged to wage simulated battles and wars and
electronically kill lots of people.
Even more bizarrely, the creators of the song, which so eloquently exposes
the nature of war, sold the rights to them for this purpose. Sega and
Creative Assembly made a financial agreement with us to use the song and
then suddenly withdrew because an executive did not want 'their' music to be
associated with me - a 'controversial figure'.
There was also the little-known 'New Age'-type 'spiritual' singer on the
Isle of Wight whose music I came across many years ago now. She didn't even
get as far as talking money. She would not have her more than 20 years old
'spiritual' songs involved in the Wembley event under any circumstances
because 'I don't believe in a conspiracy'.
So now 'spiritual' music is only for those you agree with, then. Okay. It's
not what I would call spirituality, but there we go.
Next came a contact with a lawyer representing Yoko Ono who owns the rights
to some John Lennon songs that would have been perfect. But after several
days the word came back that we were not allowed to use them. Given that the
Wembley event represents everything that John Lennon spoke out in support
of, it makes you wonder why you bloody bother sometimes.
But, if you keep going and refuse to give in, the right doors will open and
somehow we have got there in the end thanks to artists who put their actions
where their mouths are. What a hassle, but what an eye-opener, too, about
many things.
Wembley is a very significant moment in my life and work. In many ways my
life since my mind exploded open in 1990-91 has been a journey to get here
and it is certainly a pivotal moment and a turning point - though to what I
am not sure yet. In fact, I am more than not sure. The future is a blank for
me at this moment.
I do everything on intuition and I usually have an intuitive feel for where
I am going, but not this time. It is like the future ends at Wembley for
now. Last year my intuition said 'yes' to almost everything and I must have
flown some 45,000 miles around the world to Australia (and all over), New
Zealand, the United States and Europe.
I came home utterly exhausted with my health shot for a while and, once we
booked Wembley in February, I have put everything on hold except for that
and a major new book that I am two-thirds to finishing. I am usually here,
there and everywhere, but I have spent the entire year in England apart from
two talks in Hawaii in March followed by my return to Peru trip in April.
I have had many invitations to speak around the world, but I have said the
same every time - I am going to wait until after Wembley and see where we
are. I want to see the impact that it has or doesn't have in taking this
whole thing forward.
I will be going deeper into the rabbit hole in terms of information and
dot-connections than, in my experience at least, anyone has ever gone before
and with the event being live-streamed on the Internet, and available to be
seen in full for a month afterwards, the potential is there for a large
number of people to see what they are not being told all over the world.
Whether they will take that opportunity is quite another thing, however, but
all I and those around me can do is make the information available. After
that, we can do nothing more - horses to water, drinking or not drinking,
and all that stuff.
Humanity is at a fork in the road with reality-changing, or
reality-not-changing, decisions to make and so am I, really. Where from
here? I don't know and I am just waiting for the energy to move.
Getting on for a quarter of a century of airport-hotel-venue,
airport-hotel-venue, writing books and researching often 15 hours a day, and
defending my assets and works in legal battles, has been energetically and
physically battering - as well as very wearing mentally and emotionally.
And it has all been done in the face of enormous ridicule and abuse which,
while most of it leaves me untouched and unmoved, some of it is bound to get
through here and there to manifest in the frustration of trying so hard to
make people aware of their plight and what is happening around them while so
many of those same people just dismiss and abuse. Dismissal is okay, that is
their right. But why such abuse?
I remember a really telling moment in my life when I was still a kid in
short trousers at my first school. There was a production in which I played
a tree to be cut down by the prince as he rescued Sleeping Beauty. I always
got the best parts.
I and the other 'trees' in our brown trousers and green branching hats were
supposed to fall on the floor as the prince cut us down with a make-believe
scythe. But I was trying to play it for real and he never came anywhere near
me so I didn't fall. Why would I?
Everyone else did, though, and I was left standing alone amid the little
bodies of green and brown and the audience, made up mostly of parents, began
to laugh ever more loudly as I refused to fall. I guess it was preparing me
for the life that was to come!
As was the reaction of the headmistress - Miss Wilkinson - who was built
like Mike Tyson with shoulders to match (no pads necessary) in her
schoolma'am two-piece that appeared to be her only attire.
She called me out of the classroom and loomed over me like a fairy-tale
giant to inform me that I was a disgrace to the school, had ruined the play
and made everyone a laughing stock. Well, actually, I was the only laughing
stock as I recall.
I looked up at her and thought 'Why are you shouting at me - I was only
doing my best?'
That little boy is still in there somewhere and he sometimes asks the same
question today.
'Sorry I'm late, darling, some idiot tree wouldn't fall over.'
But, whatever. You just get on with it. Not to do so in current
circumstances would be unthinkable. And I will. I have said that I will keep
going with this until I drop and I shall. But what is the best way to
proceed from here? This is the question I can't answer at the moment and I
am going to let Wembley happen and see where it takes me.
I am feeling healthy and strong and I have lost 28 pounds, what we call 'two
stone' in the UK, since June. But I am pretty sure that my days of bouncing
around the world from country to country and venue to venue are over. It is
so physically punishing and not the most effective use of my energy and time
given the electronic possibilities today - at least for now, anyway - and I
am going to have to make the information travel rather than me on anything
like the same scale.
We are making a start on that with the live streaming of the Wembley event
and I am waiting to see what the response is before I make any decisions
about where I go from here. I have my most advanced book yet to finish after
Wembley but there is nothing arranged apart from that.
I have pretty much a blank sheet of paper for the first time in decades,
which is nice, but what will be written upon it I have no idea. It will, as
always, be interesting to find out - whatever it is.

- Prohibit labeling or advertising such food as "natural." (gotta laugh!!!!)
- Exempt from this requirement foods that are "certified organic; unintentionally produced with genetically engineered material; made from animals fed or injected with genetically engineered material but not genetically engineered themselves; processed with or containing only small amounts of genetically engineered ingredients; administered for treatment of medical conditions; sold for immediate consumption such as in a restaurant; or alcoholic beverages."

Arguments against
The arguments in opposition to Proposition 37 presented in the state's official voter guide include:- "It's a deceptive, deeply flawed food labeling scheme that would add more government bureaucracy and taxpayer costs, create new frivolous lawsuits, and increase food costs by billions--without providing any health or safety benefits."
- "It's full of special interest exemptions."

No warning for 16 years
Global Warming Stopped 16 Years Ago, Reveals Met Office Report Quietly Released... and Here is the Chart to Prove It
And with the country committed by Act of Parliament to reducing CO2 by 80 per cent by 2050, a project that will cost hundreds of billions, the news that the world has got no warmer for the past 16 years comes as something of a shock.

David Icke newsletter - SELLING YOUR SOUL
How refreshing it was this week to see former CNN reporter Amber Lyon putting her profession to shame by revealing that she is a real journalist in a mainstream media alive with frauds, fakes, liars and cheats.
Lyon was an award-winning investigative reporter with the Criminal News Network and was trying to tell the truth about the tyranny and mass murder in Bahrain when she realised the true extent of the corruption in control of CNN - as with all the mainstream corporate news operations come to that.
The Global Cabal would not be anywhere close to where they are today in terms of the Orwellian nightmare without the actions and inactions of the fundamentally controlled mainstream media across the range of print, radio, Internet and television.
David Rockefeller, one of the pillars of the conspiracy for the best part of 70 years, told 'media facilitators' at the Bilderberg Group meeting in Baden-Baden, Germany, in 1991:
We are grateful to the Washington Post, the New York Times, Time and other great publications whose directors have attended our meetings and respected their promises of discretion for almost 40 years... It would have been impossible for us to develop our plan for the world if we had been subjected to the lights of publicity during those years.
But, the world is more sophisticated now and prepared to march towards a world government. The supranational sovereignty of an intellectual elite and world bankers is surely preferable to the national auto determination practiced in past centuries.
This statement was reported by two French newspapers and Hilaire du Berrier, the vehemently anti-communist publisher of the Monte Carlo-based Hilaire du Berrier Reports and a long-time researcher of the Bilderbergers.
Lyon compiled interviews and evidence exposing the killing, imprisonment and harassment of peaceful demonstrators and how others were just disappearing. She did this despite extreme intimidation directed at her and her film crew by the Bahraini regime, including forcing them to the ground with guns at their heads, and vehement complaints to CNN executives by the Khalifa dictators.
Bahrain is home to the US Fifth Fleet and many American multinationals. It has a highly significant banking sector and petroleum production and processing account for 60% of Bahrain's export receipts and 70% of government revenues.
But while atrocities in Bahrain are ignored, target countries like Libya and Syria are condemned and invaded for 'attacking their own people' when in truth the 'rebels' involved have been largely non-Libyan and non-Syrian mercenaries trained mostly by Britain and America and armed by through countries such as Qatar and Turkey.
It was estimated this week by Daoud Khairallah, professor of International Law at Georgetown University, that some 95 per cent of Syrian 'rebels' are not Syrians at all, but foreign mercenaries. This fits with the whole picture of the so-called 'Arab Spring' (Arab Winter) in which regimes are being targeted through fake 'rebels' as a prelude to 'Western' (Cabal) takeover.
Her Bahrain report was aired just once by CNN in the United States, but not by CNN International (CNNi) which continued to refuse even in the face of complaints from CNN staff. Lyon was also told to add statements to her reports that she knew were lies. 'I couldn't believe CNN was making me put what I knew to be government lies into my reporting', she said.
Then Lyon also realised that CNNi was being paid by the Bahrain regime to air propaganda 'documentaries' about the fascist state under the heading of 'sponsored programming' and the same was being done with countries such as China, Georgia and Kazakhstan.
So here we have a 'news' organisation (owned by the corporate giant Time Warner) making state-sponsored programmes to promote the image that the sponsoring states demand for their buck. At the same time, CNN is preventing its own journalists from telling the truth about those countries by blocking their air time and insisting on tampering with their scripts.
Lyon was never sent back to Bahrain after her suppressed report and she was made redundant by CNN in March 2012. She was threatened with losing severance payments and health insurance if she spoke out against the broadcaster and exposed its deceit and journalistic corruption, but she has done so anyway to her great credit.
The biggest suppressor of truth by journalists is not censorship, but sheer, undiluted ignorance of what is really happening in the world and how everything connects to a specific goal. Then comes censorship, which takes the form of both executive censorship and, by far the worst, self-censorship.
Mainstream journalists are not on the whole hired for their intelligence and knowledge of the world as it really is. They are hired as compliant repeaters of the official and corporate line. Report events within the strict parameters of 'acceptable' perception and you'll do fine. You may even be seen to have 'made it' by getting your own show like former Israeli lobbyist, Wolf Blitzer, former CIA intern Anderson Cooper or pseudo-journalist Piers Morgan.
But expose conspiracies to destroy America, like Lou Dobbs, or, as with Amber Lyon, expose the outrages in a country like Bahrain which sponsors programming on your network, and one way or another the door comes into view.
The corporate media is structured in basically two ways. Mostly you have the pompous and delusional 'quality journalism' operations like CNN and the BBC which ludicrously claim to be impartially reporting events. Then, especially in the United States, you have apparent polarity 'news' stations like Fox News ('The Right') and MSNBC ('The Left') whose role is to perpetuate the illusory 'choice' of two-party politics.
Fox supports the Republicans and MSNBC supports the Democrats, but the key point, of course, is that both support and promote the system in which 'Republicans' and 'Democrats', as with 'Labour' and 'Conservative' in the UK, are merely masks on the same face. The late great American comedian Bill Hicks was spot on when he said ...
To 'The Right' it is good for Bush to go to war and kill lots of people with brown faces on the other side of the world, but nothing like as good when Obama does it. To 'The Left' it is bad for Bush to go to war and kill lots of people with brown faces on the other side of the world, but nothing like as bad when Obama does it.
Common denominator: lots of people with brown faces on the other side of the world being killed.
Even a lot of the anti-Bush or anti-Obama coverage is only 'anti' on the surface. An MSNBC talk show hosted by Iraq war opponent, Phil Donahue, was conveniently dropped around the time of the invasion in 2003 and later an internal NBC memo came to light which said that Donahue had to go because he would be 'a 'difficult public face for NBC in a time of war'.
These media frauds may appear to disagree on the surface, but they are as one when the fundamentals of the global agenda are at stake - in this case eliminating more people with brown faces.
MSNBC was created by US media giant NBC in league with the Microsoft Corporation of big-time Cabal front man, Bill Gates. Fox News is owned by Cabal front man, Rupert Murdoch. So why does anyone think that they would not, in the end, be singing the same song?
We received an order from one of Murdoch's apparatchiks ... that we should cut away from our newscast and start carrying a fawning tribute to Ronald Reagan that was airing at the Republican Party Convention. We were stunned because up until that point we were allowed to do legitimate news and suddenly we were ordered from the top to carry propaganda, to carry Republican right wing propaganda.
O'Donnell said they were ordered to run a long uncut report attacking Democrat Ted Kennedy, a long-time opponent of Murdoch, which had no news value. He said they were ordered to broadcast the whole thing uncut and Jon Du Pre, a former Fox News presenter with the West Coast Bureau, said the stated practice was also to embarrass, humiliate, challenge or disrupt anything connected with black Democrat, Jesse Jackson:
We were told on many occasions that he was one of our targets. Anything we could do or say that would embarrass him, discredit him, we were encouraged to find the information and we were encouraged to report the information.
I am no supporter of Jesse Jackson who I consider on the evidence that I have picked up over the years is a monumental fraud, but the fact that he was targeted by a 'credible' news organisation because he was a Democrat or because Murdoch didn't like him shows how the 'news' business really works.
Former Fox contributor and CIA intelligence analyst, Larry Johnson, told how the daily diktat would include 'a detailed list of subjects to talk about and not talk about' and 'edicts to the reporters to control what they could say and how they could say it'.
Presenter Jon Du Pre said that a memo would arrive from Fox headquarters every day saying 'we want to touch on the following issues, we want to cover the following stories, we want to do them in this particular way'.
Du Pre was suspended for not being enthusiastic enough in his all-day reporting on the birthday of Ronald Reagan. He reported to the Fox audience that Reagan admirers had 'been streaming in from all over the country and even parts of Canada and Mexico ...'
This simply wasn't true but he said it to watch his back and protect his job in the face of pressure from Fox News executives furious at the tone of his reporting which reflected the truth of what was happening and not their desired 'line'.
'Expert' interviewees are chosen according to the political perception that Fix News wishes to promote and not for the intelligence of the contribution. How could that not be the case when one of the regular Fox News contributors is William Kristol, founder of the Neocon Project for the New American Century and editor of The Weekly Standard, the propaganda sheet once owned by Rupert Murdoch and which, together with Kristol and his Neocon buddies, played a major role in pressing for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq.
Former Fox News producer, Clara Frenk, said the Republican ('Conservative') contributors were well known and 'very, very strong people', while the Democrat ('Liberal') guests included only one person she had ever heard of.
Republicans appeared 5 times as often as Democrats on one-on-one newsmakers interviews. That means that Republicans made up 83 per cent of the partisan guests while Democrats made up just 17 per cent. In addition, the few Democrats that were interviewed for the show tended to be centrists and conservative Democrats often brought on to affirm Bush Administration policies.
... if Fox were the bastion of fairness and balance that it claims to be we'd see a lot more balance in this prominent interview segment on the network's most prestigious show. Instead the numbers indicate that Brit Hume and Special Report choose their guests based on political considerations rather than news judgment.
Even if you are asked to appear you had better keep to the party line. Contributor Larry Johnson says that he was dropped after he answered basically 'no' to the question posed by Fox News mouth-for-sale Sean Hannity in the run up to the invasion of Iraq about whether the Bush administration could fight two wars at the same time:
And Sean Hannity, being the right-wing cheerleader that he is, was just, you know, incensed that I ... had the temerity to suggest that we couldn't. Facts don't seem to have any effect upon him. What was unusual is it was after that appearance that, even though I was under contract to Fox for another eight weeks roughly, they stopped using me.
This is what is called 'fair and balanced' news when it is really undiluted propaganda.
Boy Bush counter-terrorism advisor Richard Clarke got the Fix News treatment when his book, Against All Enemies, criticised the administration's actions before 9/11 and the decision to invade Iraq.
The book also contradicted the official stories of people like Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld and acting Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Richard Myers with regard to what they were doing on the morning of September 11th. Jeff Cohen, a former Fox News contributor, said:
When Richard Clarke emerged it was obvious this was a danger to the Administration because he had worked at the highest echelons of the Bush Administration and it was almost like Fox News was working off the playbook coming out of the White House - that he had to be torn down, that he had to be turned into a Democrat, a Liberal ...
The same modus operandi of targeting and seeking to discredit people telling the truth is happening all over the world every day. Fox News was the first US network to announce that Boy Bush had been elected president on the night of his rigged election 'victory' against Al Gore in 2000. The announcement came from John Ellis, who ran the Fox News 'election analysis' division and was a first cousin of George W Bush.
Ellis made his move when the data from Florida clearly made the vote too close to call, but this Bush relative went ahead and announced a Bush victory. This prompted the parrots at ABC, NBC and CBS to do the same. John Nichols, a Washington correspondent for The Nation and author of the Cheney book, Dick: The Man Who Is President, said:
When Fox made the call that Bush had won and the other networks followed on, that created the perception that Bush was the winner, when in fact he wasn't. But that perception was what really held for the next 37 days and I would suggest to you that call on election night had more to do with making George Bush president than any recount or ballot design issue.
Dave Korb, a former Fox News freelance writer, revealed how he was ordered to lie about what was happening in Iraq. He said that a Senior Producer told the two or three writers for her segment:
Now just keep in mind, it's all good. This is such a fair and balanced issue. Don't write about the number of dead or troops being under fire or under attack. Not that somebody might have died, you know, keep it positive. We've got to emphasise all the good that we're doing.
Korb described how the producer made a reference to rebuilding schools and bringing democracy to Iraq. She said: 'See big progress. Yoo hoo for us.'
So censorship and manipulation of the 'news' is happening all the time and this creates the structure and environment of fear and intimidation which imposes the worst and most insidious censorship of all - self censorship.
Once your 'journalists' and producers are clear on what the limits and parameters are they simply stop reporting or offering stories that are outside of that blueprint. Whether something should be reported or not reported is no longer even discussed and argued once self-censorship kicks in because nothing outside of the parameters is offered for publication or broadcast.
This is where we are at and have been for a very long time. The media 'in' word for a story being censored is 'spiked' - the story has been 'spiked'. This comes from a spike on the desk of editors, still used when I was in the mainstream media, onto which rejected stories were thrust. Self-censorship means, in effect, spiking yourself before the story is even suggested, let alone written.
When you have this Executive Vice-president and those around him, who are consistently saying, 'no we're not gonna do that story, no this story's bad, this story's good', and it becomes very clear to all the Bureau Chiefs, to everybody involved who have been there over a period of years, there are certain kinds of stories, it's not even worth bringing up, there are other kinds of stories that you know management's gonna love.
I worked for years in this environment as a journalist in newspapers, radio and BBC television and I know how the system operates. I was involved almost entirely with presenting sport for the national BBC, but this included delivering sport bulletins on the national news at weekends which allowed me countless opportunities to observe the main BBC newsroom at work.
There were some good and genuine people there alongside the pompous and arrogant, but they judged everything from the perspective of the system. It was the official version of everything in and the official version of everything reported as the true account of history from then on. Reuters copy came in and Reuters copy was rewritten and delivered as news.
The BBC has a centralised 'news' gathering system for national and world news known by staff as the 'rip n' read'. 'News' bulletins are wired throughout the day to all BBC radio and television outlets throughout the country including local radio stations and it is printed out automatically in their newsrooms.
Someone then rips it off the teleprinter every hour or half-hour and walks into the studio to deliver the contents to their audience as 'truth'. The BBC communication system may be different today in the new electronic era, but the principle will remain the same.
I have asked some of these people how they know that what they are reading is true. There is either silence or a bemused look that says either 'What a strange question' or 'I have no idea'.
The BBC ran a series called Conspiracy Files in which they claimed to investigate the validity of conspiracy claims regarding 9/11, the London bombings of 2005, and other events and circumstances. But you knew before the opening titles ran that the programmes would basically conclude that the official stories were true and the talk of conspiracies was nonsense.
The BBC's news and current affairs bias could not allow the official version of 9/11 to be demolished because of all that would come from that in its reporting of world events and wars in the context of their original trigger and justification - 9/11 - being the work of the very network behind the 'war against terrorism'.
But not content with even that level of bias, the same BBC came up with the idea of a series called Conspiracy Road Trip in which they take a group of people who believe in conspiracies to visit the scene of 9/11 or the London bombings in an effort to discredit their views or get them to change their minds.
The contempt that the BBC has for the subject is confirmed immediately by the employment of a clueless comedian, Andrew Maxwell, to lead the group in an effort to persuade them that there was no conspiracy.
Andrew Maxwell thinks all five of them are wrong and wants to change their minds by confronting them with the facts [given to him by the programme producers]. So as the bus criss-crosses the east coast of America he tries to convert them to his point of view. He wants to prove to them that 9/11 was no conspiracy and that sometimes the truth, whilst not easy to accept, is staring you right in the face [ironic but true].
In order to do so, he takes them to meet experts, the chief air traffic controller on the day, demolition specialists, voice morphing engineers and he gets them to conduct scientific experiments and even fly an aeroplane.
Finally they meet a mother who lost her son, to listen to her account of what it was like to live through this monumental tragedy. Andrew believes it is easy to judge world events from the safe distance of a computer screen in your bedroom but not easy when you are brought face to face with the real human stories behind them.
So we mustn't investigate what really happened because only those in some way involved have a valid opinion. How does losing your son on 9/11, tragic and heart-breaking as that is, make you in any way aware, in and of itself, about what really happened that day?
The implication is 'how could you do this to the families who lost loved ones by claiming it was a conspiracy?' So the families don't want to know the truth of why their loved ones died? Many have indeed sought this very truth and been blocked at every turn.
There is no mention by the corrupt BBC of the countless experts in their fields who have said that the official version of 9/11 simply could not have happened due to little details like the laws of physics.
This week the Conspiracy Road Trip, with comedian Maxwell once again in tow, did a similar hatchet job on those who believe that the London bombings, known as 7/7, were not the work of Muslim terrorists but government-military-Intelligence terrorists.
I don't know why anyone agrees to take part in these set-ups. They have asked me and my reply took only two words, both of them with only one syllable necessary. But people still do, despite the experience of a guy called Charlie Veitch, the one with the shades in the picture, who changed his mind on the 9/11 'road trip' in the face of BBC propaganda and agreed there was no conspiracy.
He has no doubt regretted it ever since given that the evidence is absolutely overwhelming that 9/11 was an inside job - a fact supported by a wide range of highly-relevant experts including professional building engineers, architects and airline pilots.
I bet the show's producers punched the air when Veitch 'recanted'. That was the idea - not a mature and unbiased investigation of the facts that included the views of experts in their field who have left the official story lying in a heap.
I think that one reason that people still agree to take part in these BBC farces is the belief that at least they will be able to get some truth across, however little. But what they need to appreciate is that anything that they say which is really relevant and powerful in undermining the official story will not get in the edit that the public see.
The BBC has control of the cutting room and so the best way for anyone to make a statement about censorship and bias and the lies of the system is to refuse to take part in any more of these insults to journalism.
The latter are entrapped in a structure of systematic and insidious censorship in which they are the insidious censors being themselves insidiously censored and programmed to believe that they are impartial or, as Fox News would put it, 'fair and balanced'.
Maybe BBC 'conspiracy' producer Riete Oord knows that her programme is disgustingly bias and slanted. Maybe she doesn't. But if she doesn't, well I am glad I don't live in the world that she must do. Actually, ditto if she does, actually.
The BBC has long been a thoroughly discredited organisation for those who have bothered to research the real background to world events and then watched the BBC, along with CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, and all the others report what you know to be provable lies as indisputable fact.
The BBC has been the world's leading broadcaster in selling the human-caused climate change lie - to the point where it officially decided that the ludicrous 'science' was proven to such an extent that no alternative view needed to be heard. It was also exposed for publishing a picture of rows of bodies taken in Iraq in 2003 and claiming that it was taken during the current conflict in Syria.
The BBC used the fake picture to blame the Syrian government for what it portrayed, of course, as the corrupt corporation seeks to sell yet another war on behalf of its government masters - as it has so many times before.
This was a picture blazed on the front page of the London Evening Standard purporting to be a large crowd celebrating the bringing down of Saddam's statue in Iraq after the invasion in 2003, but it turned out to be a manipulated image with the same people included several times to make the crowd look far bigger than it really was. ...
I have heard people say so many times in my life: 'Don't believe what you read in the papers'. But I have then seen those who offer that excellent advice go ahead and do just that themselves. The scale of deceit has always been massive, but today it is fantastic and all-pervasive.
The advice needs an urgent update: Don't accept anything unless you have checked it out yourself or, at the very least, the source has a long - a long - track record of accuracy and authenticity.
The world is so awash with lies that finding the truth is one hell of a challenge every day and the mainstream media is a hindrance not a help - exactly as it is meant to be.
