I have a problem with the author writing this: For a number of years I have been uncomfortable with the notion that our Sun is a huge fiery yellow ball with extremely high temperatures which radiate heat and light to our Solar System. Why? Well, I could not understand why, as you climbed further up a mountain the colder it became, yet you were nearer the Sun.: The reason for this is based ona couple of factors - The most NB one is elementary, isn't it? The higher density of the air at lower altitudes retains more heat... however at higher altitudes, the lower density means less heat AND you get worse sun burn because of this same fact - Hmmmmmm - I mean thats obvious and I dont think anyone is lying to us on that one.
